Project Description:
Project #1-6 per attached Technical Specifications and Attachement B - Site Map.
*Award shall be based on the lowest total quote for Projects #1-6. The
unit price quote submitted for project #1-6 listed shall include all costs required
to complete the work identified in the Technical Specifications. Line item #1 quote
for PROJECT #1-6 shall include all labor, material and non-material costs,
transportation, insurance premiums, administrative support, overhead, applicable fees
and taxes (Federal and State), general excise tax, and any incidentals and
miscellaneous costs to complete the scope of work requirements for line item #1
PROJECT #1-6. The award is subject to availability of funds.
Project #7: Removal of forty (40) Autograph Trees growing into the gutters at Hale
Kehau and four (4) at Hale Kehau Dining Hall per the attached Technical Specifications
and Attachement C - Site Map Project 7.
*Award shall be based on the lowest quote for Project #7. The unit price
quote submitted for Line Item #2 shall include all costs required to complete the work
identified in the Technical Specifications. Line item #2 quote for PROJECT #7 shall
include all labor, material and non-material costs, transportation, insurance premiums,
administrative support, overhead, applicable fees and taxes (Federal and State),
general
excise tax, and any incidentals and miscellaneous costs to complete the scope of work
requirements for line item #2 PROJECT #7. The award is subject to availability of
funds.
Special Instructions
1. See attached Technical Specifications for detail information.
2. This solicitation includes five (5) project sites. Offerers may visit the project
sites
on any workday from 8:00am - 4:30pm. Contact Iris Hirayama,(808)932-7848,

3. Offerers are strongly encouraged to visit the various project sites and be
familiarized with all existing conditions and restrictions of the project site.
Field measurements and quantities are the offerer\'s responsibility. Site inspections
are not mandatory; however, submission of an offer shall be evidence that the
offerer understands the scope of the project and shall comply with the
specifications herein, if awarded the purchase order. No
additional allowances or price adjustments will be granted based on lack of
knowledge of such conditions, or failure to perform site inspections prior to
submitting a quotation.
4. Basis for award. The award of purchase orders, if awarded, shall be made to the
responsible offerer submitting the lowest quote for Line 1: Project #1-6 and/or Line
2: Project #7. The award is subject to availability of funds. Offerers are not
required to submit a quote for both Line 1 & Line 2 be eligible for award. Awards may be
issued to multiple offerers based on the lowest price offered for each line item.
5. To be eligible for award, offeror must be HCE compliant. See attached Technical
Specifications for Information.
6. Quote must be valid for thirty (30) days.
