Bid Date: 2026-02-05

Project Description: Furnish, deliver and spot ONE (1) new 2026 one-trip, 40 foot high watertight cube container to the University of Hawaii at Hilo, 200 W. Kawili Street, Hilo, Hawaii.

Quotation shall include all transportation and delivery fees to F.O.B destination, spotting/placement, warranty costs, expediting fees, and all applicable fees and taxes.

Special Instructions
Furnish, deliver and spot ONE (1) new, 2026 one-trip, 40 foot high watertight cube container.

Vendor shall coordinate delivery and spotting with Daryl Masanda (808) 932- 8814.

Quotation shall include all transportation and delivery fees to F.O.B destination, spotting/placement, forklift (if required), warranty costs, expediting fees, and all applicable fees and taxes.

Unless otherwise agreed to, delivery of the 40 foot container shall be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days from the purchase order date. Vendor’s quote shall include any expediting fees to meet delivery date.

The new one-trip 40 foot high cube container shall be delivered to the University of Hawaii at Hilo at the following location:

The new 40 foot high cube container shall be placed as directed by the University.

To be eligible for award, vendor must be compliant with the Internal Revenue Service, State of Hawaii Department of Labor, State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, and the State of Hawaii Department of Taxation prior to the quote submission deadline through award of the purchase order. The Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE), Certificate of Vendor Compliance shall be utilized to confirm vendoraEURtms compliance with all agencies. Vendors are advised that any of the following may be grounds for disqualification:
- Taking exception to any of the specifications, terms or conditions.
- Placing conditions on the furnishing of solicited goods or services.
- Failure to follow RFQ instructions.

Vendor shall warrant that all containers shall be new, one-trip (watertight) cube containers, manufactured date 2026, and watertight guaranteed for one- year.

Addendum No. 1 - February 3, 2026

In response to Request for Information (RFI) No. 1:

Per SuperQuote RFQ No. 113891, Special Instructions, the 40’ container shall be new, one-trip watertight cube container, manufactured date 2026, and watertight guaranteed for one-year. No exceptions.

Containers shall be free from cosmetic blemishes, dings, dents, rust, etc. The University will not accept containers damaged in transit.

It is the Vendor’s responsibility to view the site location and conditions to determine the means and method for delivery and placement of the 40’ container. Contact Daryl Masanda to schedule a site visit, if necessary to observe field conditions.
