following minimum specs: Comprised of birch plywood with rounded edge tongue and groove center with latch and lock
securing system. One layer of 220g polymer resin on each side with a textured wear side. System should have dual density
shock dampening pads at regular intivals to provide minimum 67% shock absorption. Panels must have a minimum
uniform distribution load of >2248 lb and a point load minimum of >809lb. And must be fire rated Blfs 1 to EN 13501.

2 = 30 meter rolls of Cascade portable vinyl flooring (Marley) or acceptable alternative that meets the following
minimum specs: Black vinyl must be durable and available in rolls with a minimum width of 2m (78.7”) and come in
specified lengths. Thickness of 0.080” (2mm) and comprised of two layers of homogeneous PVC, one side with a slip
resistant dance surface and a center layer of mineral fiber reinforcement to prevent expansion and contraction in humid
environment. Fire rating of ASTM E648, E662 – Class 1. Preferably with a maximum of 30% recycled materials
and 100% recyclable post use.

specs: Black vinyl must be durable and available in rolls with a mimimum width of 2m (78.7”) and come in
specified lengths. Thickness of 0.080” (2mm) and comprised of two layers of homogeneous PVC, one side with
a slip resistant dance surface and a center layer of mineral fiber reinforcement to prevent expansion and
contraction in humid environment. Fire rating of ASTM E648, E662 – Class 1. Preferably with a maximum of 30%
recycled materials and 100% recyclable post use.
Special Instructions
Delivery shall be made within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days from the date of the purchase order and no later
than May 30, 2026.
Quotation shall include all equipment, transportation and delivery charges
to F.O.B. destination, insurance premiums, warranty costs, administrative support costs,
expediting fees, and all applicable fees and taxes.
Vendors must accept UH purchase orders governed by the attached UH General Terms and Conditions.
Vendors are advised that any of the following may be grounds for disqualification:
1. Taking exception to any of the specifications, terms or conditions.
2. Placing conditions on the furnishing of solicited goods or services.
3. Inclusion or referencing external documents containing additional specifications, terms or conditions.
4. Failure to follow RFQ instructions.
To be eligible for award, vendors must be compliant with the Internal Revenue
Service, State of Hawaii Department of Labor, State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and
Consumer Affairs, and the State of Hawaii Department of Taxation at the time of award.
The Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) will be utilized to confirm vendor’s compliance with
all agencies. Information regarding HCE is available at
http://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce/splash/welcome.html.
Offerors shall electronically register with HCE to obtain a Certificate of Vendor
Compliance which is acceptable as proof of compliance. The certification should be
applied for in a timely manner. The University will inform the successful offeror in
writing as to the exact date and time that the above certifications are due to the
University. If the successful offeror does not submit the certifications by the date
and time specified in the University’s written notification, the successful offeror’s quote
shall be rejected. Thereafter, the University reserves the right to consider other
offers received for award.
The manufacturer and/or model number of items identified are used as a measure of quality, style, appearance and
performance. Any brand or manufacturer of equal or better quality to that specified will be considered for acceptance
by the University. The University may reject or deny any substitution that it may, in its discretion deem unequal, and the
findings in this regard shall be accepted by the vendor as final and binding.
