Project Description: Provide all labor necessary to replace the fan assembly and bearings as indicated in the plans and specifications. The proposed work shall generally include removal, disposal and replacement of the fan assembly per manufacturer’s specifications. Start-up the fan per manufacturer’s recommendations and perform system checks to confirm proper operations. Submit all data collected to the university of Hawaii facilities management office, attention: Carl Oshiro prior to request for final inspection. All work located at Bilger Addition, UHM.

Special Instructions
ALL bidders are requested to attend a mandatory site walk-through. A site walk through is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. on Monday January 19, 2026. Contractors shall meet at the Physical Plant Mechanical Engineer Office located at 2002 East- West Road. Contract documents will be distributed at the mandatory walk through. Contractors interested in bidding this work must contact Carl Oshiro through email ( coshiro6@hawaii.edu), facsimile (956-5979) or phone (956-0479) to confirm attendance by 4:00 p.m. Friday January 16, 2026. Contractors who DO NOT attend a mandatory site walk-through will not be allowed to bid on this work. Contractor is required to provide a cost breakdown at time of bid. The breakdown must equal to the total cost of the bid. If correct breakdown is not provided at time of bid, the bid may be disqualified.
