Project Description:
Provide services necessary for a continuous 12-month (1 year, commencing January2027) water treatment program to control corrosion, scaling, fouling and biological growth in the cooling tower, condenser water, central plant chilled water, and reheat water systems at the University of Hawaii at Hilo\'s University Classroom Building(Bldg 3301), Science and Technology Building (Bldg 3325), Main Chiller Plant and Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy Building (Bldg 3318); and for closed loop only systems at the Student Services Building (Bldg 3354); Marine Science Building (Bldg3351), Wentworth Building (Bldg 3348), College Hall A (Bldg 3345A) and B (Bldg3345B), Theater (Bldg 3342), and College of Agriculture Building (Bldg 3319), per the attached Technical Specifications.

A TWO (2) chemical type system - High Cycle Scale & Corrosion Inhibitor, Non- Oxidizing Biocide is required. A one chemical-combined type system is NOT allowed.

The quotation shall include all material and non-material costs, labor, travel and transportation cots, shipping, warranty, administrative support costs, overhead, expediting fees, equipment, tools and supply costs, insurance premiums, and all applicable taxes (Federal and State) necessary to complete all services as specified herein, in strict accordance with the true intent and meaning of the Technical Specifications and Request for Quotation (RFQ).

2. Offerors are cautioned to thoroughly review the Technical Specifications. Failure by the offeror to request clarification to understand the requirements shall not constitute abasis for price adjustment.

3. Offerors are strongly encouraged to visit the various sites and examine the existing conditions and restrictions, and be aware or satisfied as to the character or amount of work to be performed under this solicitation. Site inspections are not mandatory; however, submission of an offer shall be evidence that the offeror understands the scope of work and shall comply with the specifications herein, if awarded the purchase order. No additional allowance or price adjustment will be granted based on lack of knowledge of such conditions or failure to perform site investigations prior to submitting a quotation.
