Project Description:
Site Preparation & Safety: Inspection of existing mounting hardware/hoist framework, placement floor protection, and securing the work area.

Demolition & Removal: Safe extraction and disposal of the shattered backboard and remaining debris in Gym 2.

Installation: Supply and precision installation of one (1) commercial-grade regulation glass backboard (42”x 72” tempered glass with heavy-duty aluminum/steel frame).

Hardware & Hardware Upgrades: Reinstallation/replacement of breakaway rim, high-density edge padding, and fresh mounting hardware.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Testing structure alignment, height adjustment, and breakaway mechanism to ensure full compliance with regulatory/league standards.

Clean-Up: Thorough sweeping, vacuuming, and removal of all work-related debris.

Special Instructions
Vendor must be vendor compliant on the Hawaii Compliance Express website.

Vendor must provide a valid certificate of insurance in accordance with University of Hawaii requirements prior to issuing the Purchase Order.

Please provide an itemized cost estimate. Your quote must clearly separate material costs from labor costs--lump-sum totals cannot be accepted. Please provide a brief breakdown listing the itemized cost for materials (backboard, rim, padding, hardware) and the itemized cost for labor (removal, disposal, installation, and testing).
