Project Description:
Provide all labor to replace a air handler fan assembly. The proposed work shall generally include, but not limited to removing and replacing the air handler fan assembly on AHU #5. Refer to the mechanical section for detailed description of work. All work is located at the Queen Liliuokalani Center for Student Services, University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Special Instructions
All bidders are requested to attend a mandatory site walk through. A site walk through is scheduled for 9:00 am on Oct. 20, 2026. Contractors shall meet at the Queen Liliuokalani Center for Student Services Bldg. at 2600 Campus Rd. Contractor parking is located on the Mauka side of the building. Contract documents will be distributed at the walk through. Contractors interested in bidding for this work, must contact Alton Fujimoto by email: altonf@hawaii.edu, or phone at 808 864-4161 to confirm attendance by 4:00 pm Oct. 19, 2026. Contractors that do not attend a mandatory site walk through, will not be allowed to bid on this work. Contractor is required to provide a cost breakdown at time of bid. The breakdown must equal to the total cost of the bid. If correct breakdown is not provided at time of bid, the bid may be disqualified.

10/20/26
AHU #6
1) Remove and replace the fan assembly on AHU #6, per AHU #5 specifications.
2) Fabricate a new motor mounting bracket per UH sample and copy bracket installed in AHU #5.
3) Replace UV light bulbs and ballasts.
