Project Description: Design and construct approximately 2,430 linear feet (LF) of new 12-inch epoxy coated ductile iron piping (DIP) water line equipped with cathodic protection and new appurtenances including, but not limited to new intermediate water line/lateral connections, valves, air relief valves and fittings; deconstruction, removal and disposal of approximately 2,040 LF of existing 10-inch cast iron water line, 80 LF of existing 8-inch ductile iron water line, 650 LF existing 6-inch ductile iron water line and associated intermediate water line/later disconnections; abandon-in-place approximately 510 LF of existing 10-inch cast iron water line and 80 LF of existing 6-inch ductile iron water line; demolition and backfill of various existing abandoned concrete valve vaults; and installation of new fire hydrants to replace existing fire hydrants that run along Donald Ward Road from Jarrett White Road to Patterson Road.
Estimated construction cost: $10-25M
The work shall be completed (840) calendar days from the First Day of Construction as defined in the Notice to Proceed.

After this project has bid it is each contractors responsibility to delete and destroy all RFP documents.

Subcontractor and its agents, employees, and tiered subcontractors shall comply with provisions of the all Labor Codes, including those relating to payment of prevailing rates of wages.
