Project Description:
The Maui District State Parks office is soliciting quotes for pest control services at Waianapanapa State Park in Hana, Maui.

Treatment services shall include termite control, rodents, and other nuisance pests such as roaches, spiders, centipedes, ants, and similar pests.

Services shall be provided once per month at the following facilities:

Twelve (12) recreational rental cabins
One (1) caretaker’ residence/office
One (1) public comfort station

Services shall include spraying and/or application and maintenance of appropriate bait stations and other pest-control measures around the interior and exterior general areas of each cabin, the caretaker’s residence/office, and public comfort station, as required.

Routine termite control under this solicitation is intended as preventative/general pest-control treatment. Structural termite remediation, fumigation/tenting, or other major termite treatment is not included unless separately authorized by the State.

This solicitation is being amended to add a scheduled on-site visit at Waiʻānapanapa State Park.

Waiʻānapanapa State Park – Caretaker’s Office

The site visit will provide prospective offerors an opportunity to become familiar with the park facilities, service areas, site conditions, and overall scope of work prior to submitting a quote.

Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend.

Termite treatment is being removed from the scope of work at this time to allow for further evaluation of appropriate treatment methods, application procedures, and specific needs of the park facilities. Termite treatment will be addressed separately once these considerations have been reviewed.
