Project Description:
Provide four (4) portable battery energy storage/power stations suitable for emergency backup power, special events, field operations, outdoor applications, and temporary power needs.

Each unit shall meet or exceed the following minimum specifications:

1. Battery Capacity
Minimum battery capacity: 3,800 Wh
Battery chemistry: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePOâ‚„) or equivalent technology providing comparable safety, durability, and service life.
Battery system shall be rechargeable and designed for repeated charge/discharge cycles.

2. AC Power Output
Minimum continuous/rated AC output: 2,600 watts
Minimum peak/surge/lifting capability: 3,800 watts
Output voltage: 120 VAC
Frequency: 60 Hz
AC output shall be suitable for standard U.S. electrical equipment.

3. AC Outlets
Minimum of two (2) 120V AC outlets.
AC outlets shall provide the full rated output capacity of the unit.

4. DC/USB Outputs
Each unit shall include:
Minimum of two (2) USB-A charging ports.
Minimum of two (2) USB-C charging ports.
At least one USB-C port shall provide 100 watts or greater output.
Minimum of one (1) 12V DC/cigarette-lighter style output capable of powering common 12V equipment.

5. Charging
Unit shall support charging from a standard 120V AC electrical source. Maximum AC charging input shall be sufficient to substantially recharge the unit within a reasonable period.
Unit shall support solar charging through an integrated MPPT solar charge controller.
Minimum solar charging input: 1,000 watts.
Unit shall support vehicle/DC charging or an equivalent portable charging method.

6. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
Unit shall provide an automatic UPS/backup power function.
Automatic transfer from utility power to battery power shall occur in 20 milliseconds or less.
UPS function shall allow connected equipment to remain powered during a utility power interruption.

7. Monitoring and Controls
Unit shall include an integrated digital display showing, at minimum, battery state of charge and power input/output information.
Unit shall provide wireless monitoring and/or control capability through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or equivalent technology.

8. Portability
Unit shall be designed for portable use and capable of being transported by one person. Unit shall include integrated carrying handles and/or wheels and a retractable or equivalent transport handle.
Total unit weight shall not exceed approximately 100 lbs., excluding removable accessories.

9. Safety and Protection
Unit shall incorporate appropriate protection against:

Over-voltage
Over-current
Short circuit
Over-temperature
Over-charging
Over-discharging

10. Accessories
Each unit shall include all standard equipment necessary for operation from a 120V AC electrical source, including the manufacturer\'s standard AC charging cable and required operating documentation.

11. Warranty
Minimum manufacturer\'s warranty: 5 years on the power station/battery system. Vendor shall provide manufacturer\'s warranty documentation upon request.

12. New Equipment
All equipment shall be new, unused, and current production.
Refurbished, used, or previously leased equipment shall not be acceptable.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND SCOPE OF SERVICES SECURITY SERVICES

Prospective bidders must have a certificate of vendor compliance on file with Hawaii Compliance Express. The Contractor shall comply with all applicable requirements set forth by the State of Hawaii, including registration and compliance with the Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) Compliance website.

Vendors must comply with all attachments and bid descriptions.

Vendors must be able to ensure that product is delivered to Commuter Services within One week of purchase order issuance. If you cannot fulfill this delivery date, please do not bid.

Price must include all applicable fees including tax and freight.

Final delivery to 1951 East West Road, Honolulu HI 96822 between 8AM and 2PM Monday - Friday, excluding state holidays.
