Project Description:
Provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and insurance necessary to install
seven (7) Contractor furnished ABB Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) for the Pharmacy
Building Chiller Plant, University of Hawaii at Hilo, as called for on the plans and
technical specifications.
Special Instructions
Job Site Walk-Through
Due to conditions at the site that may not be clearly identified in technical
specifications and plans, it is highly recommended that all bidders visit the site. Job
site walk-through, scheduled for September 16, 2026, at 2:00PM. Meet at the rear service
area of the Pharmacy Building.
Substitutions/Clarifications
Requests for substitutions/clarifications regarding the RFQ and its requirements must be
submitted to the Technical Representative, Ken Kaleiwahea, University of Hawaii at Hilo,
at kjakalei@hawaii.edu no later than 4:00 p.m. (HST) on September 18, 2026.
