Project Description:
The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing of all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools and equipment, required or incidental to, provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to install split-system air conditioning units at the Miranda House in accordance with manufacturer specifications, applicable building codes, and industry standards at the University of Hawaii, Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology (HIMB). See attached floor map.

• (5x) 9,000 BTU single split unit AC
• (1X) 18,000 BTU single split unit AC

Special Instructions
1. All bidders shall review the attached documents before submitting a quotation.

2. Quote to include all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to complete the project in accordance with the attached documents.

4. Quote must be valid for 90 days.

5. Clarification/substitution request shall be submitted by September 2, 2026 at 2pm (HST).

6. To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractor’s C-52 license.

8. Bidders receiving the award is required to provide the following documentation before the purchase order is issued. Note: Do not purchase any materials until the approved purchase order is provided.

(3) Certificate of Compliance with HRS 396-18
(4) Signed Superquote Award Notice
