Project Description:
- Provide one complete, non-illuminated, framed exterior sign with an outdoor-rated printed background panel and dimensional raised lettering. The sign will be placed above the double glass entry doors to The Pearl restaurant at Leeward Community College. The location is partially sheltered by the building roof but is exposed to morning sunlight, wind- driven rain, humidity, and normal exterior conditions.

Special Instructions
- Not-to-exceed budget: $4,500 total, including all design finalization, site verification, fabrication, hardware, packaging, delivery, taxes, freight, fees, and other charges.

- Scope assumption: This RFQ includes one pre-bidding site visit (optional), one post-award field- verification visit, shop drawings/proofs, fabrication, delivery, mounting hardware, template, and written installation instructions. On-site installation labor, electrical work, and relocation of existing wall fixtures are excluded.

- The quotation shall be a firm lump-sum price and shall not exceed $4,500. Estimated or open-ended pricing will not be accepted.

- All prices are F.O.B. destination, including all applicable taxes, shipping, handling, delivery, freight, packaging, fees, and other charges and costs.

- Quotations must be submitted through CommercePoint/SuperQUOTE by the stated closing date and time. Email may be used for questions only; emailed quotations will not be accepted.

- The quotation must remain valid for 60 calendar days after the closing date.

- Award will be made to the vendor submitting the lowest responsive quotation that meets all minimum specifications and terms.

- Leeward CC requests vendor recommendations for materials, fabrication methods, print protection, mounting hardware, and final clearances. Proposed substitutions must be clearly identified and must meet or exceed the stated durability, appearance, and performance requirements. Written specifications govern over the conceptual rendering.

- Construction details may be adjusted to fit the not-to-exceed budget while preserving the overall design intent and minimum exterior durability requirements. Any deviation is subject to Leeward CC approval and may require a written solicitation amendment.

- The selected vendor shall not begin work or incur costs until a University of HawaiE>>i purchase order or other authorized written notice is issued.

- After the RFQ closes, the selected vendor will be contacted by email to confirm lead time and required compliance status. The vendor must respond within two (2) working days. Failure to respond may be treated as withdrawal of the quotation, and the University may proceed to the next lowest responsive quotation.

- For an award of $2,500 or more, the vendor must be compliant in Hawai\'i Compliance Express and able to provide or make available a current Certificate of Vendor Compliance at the time of award. Failure to establish compliant status may result in disqualification.
