High Volume Industrial Portable Floor Fan

Steel Safety Cage to meet applicable OSHA requirements
Minimum IPX4 rating or equivalent water-resistant construction
Unit shall be delivered fully assembled and ready for operation
Black Finish preferred
Approximate overall dimensions: 26-32 Inches (D) x 76-88 Inches (W) x 70-82 inches(H)
Provide power cord of sufficient length to reach the designated electrical outlet
without requiring an extension cord. A cord length of approximately 20-25 feet is preferred.
Must operate on standard 110-120 V AC, single-phase power and be compatible with a standard wall outlet.
Equivalent products meeting or exceeding the minimum functional requirements will be considered.

Special Instructions
1. Under Section 103D-310(c), Hawaii Revised Statutes, all offerors, upon award of contract, must ensure compliance with all laws governing entities doing business in the State of Hawaii. Offeror will be expected to provide their “Certificate of Vendor Compliance” identifying their current status as “Compliant” on the Hawaii Compliance Express: http://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce, once contract is awarded.

2. All questions may be emailed to Crystal Bethel at cbethel@hawaii.edu, no later than 4:00 p.m. HST on August 27, 2026. Responses will be provided no later than 4:00 p.m. HST on August 28, 2026.

3. Bids shall be all-inclusive, including, but not limited to, the cost for labor, materials, all applicable taxes, fees, shipping and handling, etc., for FOB destination to Kauai Community College, Performing Arts Center, 3-1901 Kaumualii Hwy., Lihue, HI 96766. Damages incurred during shipment, assembly, and/or delivery of goods will be the responsibility of the vendor.

4. The purchase will provide supplemental air circulation and ventilation in the Performing Arts Center during performances and special events. The building\'s HVAC system is scheduled primarily outside campus operations, additional air movement is needed when the facility is occupied outside of those hours.

5. Quotation must be valid for 90 days from the closing date of this request for quote.

6. Award(s) are subject to funding availability.

7. Delivery of goods MUST BE RECEIVED at Kauai Community College, Performing Arts Center (Gregory von Hausch) within 90 days A.R.O. (After Receipt of Order). Coordination of the exact delivery date shall be made with Gregory von Hausch at (954)-520-3191.

8. All awards are subject to the University of Hawai’i Terms and Conditions Applicable to all Purchase Orders (see attachment); failure to agree and/or submission of separate terms and conditions may warrant disqualifications.
