Project Description:
The CARES Wailua station is requesting the services of a qualified, licensed, and insured tree service contractor to remove ten (10) large ironwood (Casuarina spp.) trees and to prune one (1) large overhanging limb from an additional large ironwood tree down to stump level, on station grounds. Several of the trees to be removed are located near station buildings, and limbs on certain trees are growing into an overhead electric power line, requiring coordination with the serving utility, Kauaʻi Island Utility Cooperative (KIUC), prior to and during the work. The attached bid specification sheet describes the scope of work, site conditions, coordination requirements, and bid submission requirements for interested contractors.
