Project Description:
Provide all labor necessary to perform repairs to a cooling tower. The proposed work shall generally include, but not limited to removing and replacing the cooling tower fan motor, shaft, bearings, sheaves, and belts. Refer to the mechanical section for detailed description of work. All work is located at the Art Building, University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Special Instructions
All bidders are requested to attend a mandatory site walk through. A site walk through is scheduled for 9:00 am on Aug 18, 2026. Contractors shall meet at the Art Bldg/Bilger Addition contractor loading dock located at 2545 McCarthy Mall. Contract documents will be distributed at the walk through. Contractors interested in bidding for this work, must contact Alton Fujimoto by email: altonf@hawaii.edu, or phone at 808 864-4161 to confirm attendance by 4:00 pm Aug 17, 2026. Contractors that do not attend a mandatory site walk through, will not be allowed to bid on this work. Contractor is required to provide a cost breakdown at time of bid. The breakdown must equal to the total cost of the bid. If correct breakdown is not provided at time of bid, the bid may be disqualified.
