New 2026 Track Skidsteer with construction attachment of 67” 4 in 1 bucket and a full tank of Diesel - delivered to County road side of gate at Waiakea Research Station, 924 Stainback Highway, Hilo with the following specifications:

Special Instructions
1) Quotes of $2500 or more require UH to download a Hawaii tax compliance certificate from the state website https://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce/ for all vendors. Bids from vendors not in compliance shall be rejected if vendor cannot prove compliance within two (2) days of being awarded the bid.
Please ensure the state of Hawaii has posted all updates to Hawaii Compliance Express before submitting your bid.
2) Vendors who have not done business with the University of Hawaii, or have not done business with the university after July 1, 2012 will be required to submit a 2024 W-9 tax document.
3) Vendors must agree in an email or letterhead attached to their bid that they agree to the University of Hawaii’s terms and conditions in place of Vendor’s own terms and conditions (Example attached).
4) Skidsteer to be delivered to the County Road side of the gate at the Waiakea Research Station, 924 Stainback Highway, Hilo, Hawaii no later than 60 days after purchase order is received. Additional delivery time granted by UH depending upon reasonability of delay.
5) Vendor must submit complete specifications in brochure format for respective skidsteer being offered in this solicitation.
6) Standard warranty terms and conditions for the unit offered in this bid must be included with this bid.
7) Must submit with bid the name of the Hilo based, authorized dealer for warranty issues, replacement parts and maintenance service. The authorized service entity must submit an example of a certificate of insurance with the bid submission that meets or exceeds the requirments of the University of Hawaii, naming University of Hawaii, Waiakea Research Station and its address as additional insured, waiver of subrogation for all policies listed, and statement that liability coverage shall be primary and non-contributory where required by written contract. (Example attached, but for bid only proof of liability amounts required).
8) Vendor will provide in person operating instruction at time of delivery and will provide a physical or digital manual to the Waiakea Farm Manager at the time of delivery
9) The invoice MUST be emailed within three business days of delivery of the skidsteer to Debi Lowe, djbrockm@hawaii.edu and krec@hawaii.edu.
10) An acceptable quotation must conform to this Request for Quotation in all material respects. Any of the following may be grounds for disqualification:
(a) Take exception to any of the specifications, terms and conditions in the RFQ
(b) Place conditions on the furnishing of solicited good and/or services
(c) Inclusion of a quotation or order form containing additional specifications, terms or conditions
(d) If any negotiating is requested in regard to this RFQ, not responding within two (2) business days at any point during the negotiation process (before issuance of a purchase order)
(e) Failure to follow directions and instructions in the RFQ
