Project Description:
Provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and insurance necessary to remove existing unit and provide and install one(1) Daikin Ductless Split System – 24K BTU Fan Coil Unit and one (1) Daikin Split System System – 24K BTU Condenser Unit at the Hale Kauanoe Lounge on its Main Campus located at 200 W. Kawili Street, Hilo, HI 96720. Installation shall be as specified herein, to include any and all incidental and related services required for a complete working system, as called for on the plans and technical specifications.

Job Site Walk-Through
Due to conditions at the site that may not be clearly identified in technical specifications and plans, it is highly recommended that all bidders visit the site. Job site walk-through, scheduled for August 14, 2026, at 1:30PM. Meet at the Hale Kauanoe Parking Lot.

Substitutions/Clarifications
Requests for substitutions/clarifications regarding the RFQ and its requirements must be submitted to the Technical Representative, Troy Samura, University of Hawaii at Hilo, at tsamura@hawaii.edu no later than 4:00 p.m. (HST) on August 21, 2026.
