Special Instructions
The University of Hawai’i at Hilo is seeking fifteen (15) each, delivered sequentially, 30-cubic-yard Construction Roll-Off Bin rental and rubbish disposal service for the following location:

Quantity: Fifteen (15) 30-cubic-yard Construction Roll-Off Bins Dropped-off / Picked-up sequentially.

Bidding vendors must furnish proof of compliance with the requirements of 103D-310(c) HRS by presenting a certificate of vendor compliance obtained via the Hawaii Compliance Express Website. Vendor’s current status MUST be listed as “COMPLIANT” by the closing date of the bid and through issuance of the purchase order. For more information, see below.

Revised Closing Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 4:00 PM HST

1. Clarification — Bin Quantity. This solicitation is for fifteen (15) 30-cubic-yard Construction Roll-Off Bins, delivered and picked up sequentially, with one bin on site at a time. This is a clarification only and does not change Items 1, 2, or 3.

2. Quantity Revision — Item 4. The quantity for Item 4 (Daily. Bin rental charges) has been revised to one hundred ten (110) days.

3. Service Period and Start Date. The service period is approximately August 19, 2026 through December 7, 2026. The start date is approximate and contingent upon issuance of an approved University purchase order; rental days do not begin to accrue until a bin is placed on site.

4. Bidder Response. All bidders of record are being notified of this addendum concurrently and should revise their quotation to reflect the revised Item 4 quantity. To submit a revised quotation, rescind the quotation currently on file and submit a new quotation reflecting the change by the revised closing date.
