Project Description:
PROJECT #1: Removal of four (4) Tacoma Trees and Autograph Trees on covered walkways by Life Sciences Building A per the attached Technical Specifications and Attachment A - Site Map.

*Award shall be based on the lowest quote for each individual line item. The unit price quote submitted for each individual project line item listed shall include all costs required to complete the work identified in the Technical Specifications. Line item quote for PROJECT #1 shall include all labor, material and non-material costs, transportation, insurance premiums, administrative support, overhead, applicable fees and taxes (Federal and State), general excise tax, and any incidental and miscellaneous costs to complete the scope of work requirements for line item PROJECT #1.

PROJECT #2: Removal of Four (4) Podocarpus Trees and Two (2) Razor Pine Trees by College Hall C per the attached Technical Specifications and Attachment A - Site Map.

The unit price quote submitted for each individual project line item listed shall include all costs required to complete the work identified in the Technical Specifications. Line item quote for PROJECT #2 shall include all labor, material and non-material costs, transportation, insurance premiums, administrative support, overhead, applicable fees and taxes (Federal and State), general excise tax, and any incidental and miscellaneous costs to complete the scope of work requirements for line item PROJECT #2.

PROJECT #3: Removal of Four (4) Royal Palm Trees by the College of Business and Economics per the attached Technical Specifications and Attachment A - Site Map.

*Award shall be based on the lowest quote for each individual line item. The unit price quote submitted for each individual project line item listed shall include all costs required to complete the work identified in the Technical Specifications. Line item quote for PROJECT #3 shall include all labor, material and non-material costs, transportation, insurance premiums, administrative support, overhead, applicable fees and taxes (Federal and State), general excise tax, and any incidental and miscellaneous costs to complete the scope of work requirements for line item PROJECT #3.

Special Instructions
1. See attached Technical Specifications for detail information.

2. This solicitation includes three (3) project sites. Offerors may visit the project sites on any workday from 8:00am - 4:30pm. William Walters, (808) 937-0417.

3. Offerors are strongly encouraged to visit the various project sites and be familiarized with all existing conditions and restrictions of the project site. Field measurements and quantities are the offeror\'s responsibility. Site inspections are not mandatory; however, submission of an offer shall be evidence that the offeror understands the scope of the project and shall comply with the specifications herein, if awarded the purchase order. No additional allowance or price adjustment will be granted based on lack of knowledge of such conditions, or failure to perform site investigations prior to submitting a quotation.

4. Basis for award. The award of purchase orders, if awarded, shall be made to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest quote for each individual project line item (Projects #1 - #3) The award is subject to availability of funds. Offerors are not required to submit a quote for all items (projects) listed in order to be eligible for award. Awards may be issued to multiple offerors based on the lowest price offered for each project line item.

5. To be eligible for award, offeror must be HCE compliant. See attached Technical Specifications for information.
