Project Description:
(Qty 11) Once a month (11 months) pest control spraying of the interiors ( 118, 220, 109, 112, Cafeteria/short order kitchen) and building exterior, ‘Ōhi‘a building, Kapi‘olani Community College, 4303 Diamond Head Road. Set and monitor rodent bait stations around the exterior (perimeter) of the entire building.

Special Instructions
Main Objectives:
Service contract (11 months) for pest eradication and prevention for the Culinary Arts Department (Ohia Building) at the Kapiolani Community College Campus, 4303 Diamond Head Road.

Servicing focus should be on the following pests: Rodents (mice and rats), Roaches (all types), Ants (all types), Centipedes, and Flies (some kind of exterior spraying around building entrances to keep down the population).

Conditions and Scope of work:
The Ohia Building consists of rooms (118/220/109/112/Cafeteria/short order kitchen) which are an array of cooking kitchens, storage, offices, and dining room facilities. Monthly servicing would consist of Interior and Exterior spraying of the rooms and building. Servicing should also include the monitoring of rodent bait stations (refill bait) located around the building perimeters, and if needed, trap set ups if there should be an incident of activity.

We would like a company that is flexible and able to respond to any vital situation within a 24-hour period. We would like a company that practices good communication with Chef Dave Hamada (procurement/purchasing officer/facilities coordinator). It is very important that the company be vigilant and concentrate on any problem until it is deemed under control. All final bids must include all fees, Labor, chemical cost, bait, powders, extra spray, material costs, etc. No hidden or miscellaneous charges will be excepted. For first time vendors who are not familiar with our location, a coordinated site visit is highly recommended to understand the scope of work involved.

Vendor Requirements:
Awarded vendor must provide a current W-9 and Certificate of Vendor Compliance with the State of Hawaii. Under the HRS 103D-310(c), Vendors MUST provide proof of Compliance with all laws governing entities doing business in the State of Hawaii.
