Hawaii Community College, Electrical Installation & Maintenance Technology Program located at 1175 Manono Street, Hilo, HI 96720, Building 390, shop # 2 (Renee AK Dela Cruz).

Seller must guarantee delivery by “Date Required”. All items provided are new with 1 year standard manufacturer’s warranty, and local authorized repair & maintenance service.

Construction on this Model Home will begin approximately in Fall 2026 - Spring 2027.

Bidding Agent to verify that system is COMPLETE including ALL hardware and all inverters, combiner boxes, Rapid Shut Down System, Lithium batteries, disconnects, breakers, trunk cables, PV cable fittings, PV modules, all associated fittings and hardware units that are deemed “approved” by HECO and County of HI Building Department officials.

Bid on “Complete Full Package” with all hardware and ALL APPROVED HECO Equipment, apparatus. If there are any discrepancies, notify Renee AK Dela Cruz, EIMT Associate Professor, (808) 936-6898.

Bids on items “Equivalent to” or “Similar to” the requested products may be considered, however, a detailed list of products and specifications must be provided in order for substitution(s) to be considered. Please email your substitution(s) to Renee AK Dela Cruz at reneedc@hawaii.edu by July 14, 2026; 4:00 pm in order for it to be considered. The purchaser reserves the right to determine equivalency, and may increase, reduce, or delete specific items to maintain budget limits. The purchaser reserves the right to disapprove or approve substitutions.

Vendors must bid on all items as award will not be based on aggregate quote.

NOTE: ANY SUBSTITUTIONS TO ITEMS LISTED WILL NEED TO BE REVIEWED BY PURCHASER FOR IT TO BE CONSIDRED, EMAIL SUBSITUTIONS BY July 14, 2026, by 4:00 pm.
