Special Instructions
1. The Contractor shall clean all exterior and in accessible interior windows and frames with only non-acidic and non-toxic chemicals.

2. Work and clean-up shall be completed by FRIDAY, AUGUST 14, 2026, 3:30PM with no disruptions to normal University activities. Working hours are Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM (including clean-up time). Weekends and Holidays subject to prior approval (min. one (1) week notice).

3. Contractor shall ensure no water runoff will enter nearby storm drains in accordance with the Federal Clean Water Act.

4. Contractor shall take all necessary precautions during work to protect the building, adjoining property, surrounding landscape and roof.

5. Contractor shall be compliant with the Hawaii Compliance Express.

6. Prices shall include all applicable taxes, delivery, freight and charges.

7. The Contractor that\'s awarded the bid will be required to comply with the University\'s policy on Insurance Requirements (see attached).

8. For all General Requirements (see attachment A Specs).

9. All interested Contractors are required to visit the job site to verify the scope of work, equipment needed, material and supplies required, and the job conditions.

10. Site visit is Tuesday June 30th, 9AM. Meet at Gateway Hale parking lot. Kindly email Bronte Bolosan (bolosanb@hawaii.edu) to confirm attendance. Parking is at the Contractor\'s expense.
