Special Instructions
1. Close of quotations will be June 29, 2026 at 5:00pm HST.
2. Quotation must be valid for 60 days.
3. Quotation to include all transportation and delivery charges to F.O.B. destination and any and all applicable taxes. Furnish and deliver the materials on the list to the address below. Cost for shipping and delivery must be included and broken out as a line item.

4. A minimum of 50% of the quantities listed below must be delivered by July 31, 2026. Do not bid if you cannot meet this requirement.
5. After the request is closed, we will be contacting the winning vendor via email to confirm stock and delivery date, and instruct the vendor to respond within 3 working days. If we do not receive a response from the selected vendor within 3 working days, we will consider their quote as void and will proceed to the next lowest quote.
6. Items are based on the Atkore Unistrut system. Requests for substitution must be submitted in writing to rsugamot@hawaii.edu no later than 2PM HST on June 24, 2026. Subject to prior approval if making substitutes, we reserve the right to determine equivalency. Email with specs if making substitutes or if you have questions.
7. Unless otherwise noted, slots shall be centered along the length of the strut (double cuts may be necessary).
8. Be sure to note the differences in materials requested for each item (e.g. 316 stainless steel vs. steel with the Atkore Defender coating)
9. Under HRS 103D-310(c), vendors MUST provide proof of compliance with all laws governing entities doing business in the State of Hawaii. Vendors need to obtain a copy of their Certificate of Compliance via Hawaii Compliance Express. To register with Hawaii Compliance Express go to https://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce/splash/welcome.html Vendor must present certificate of compliance at the time of award or the bid will be void.
10. Vendor must accept the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii purchasing terms and conditions: RCUH Attachment 31 General Terms and Conditions Applicable to All Purchase Orders and Attachment 32b Federal Provisions - Government Subcontract Provisions Incorporated in All Subcontracts/Purchase Orders (Under Federal Prime Contracts) as the governing terms of this transaction.
