(Qty 105000) Estimated 12 months of weight of e-waste in pounds. Vendors to provide unit price per pound for the monthly pick up of e- waste from UHM.

Special Instructions
The University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) is looking for a vendor to dispose of electronic waste (e-waste). Vendor or its subcontactor must be R2 certified or certified by e- stewards and shall have a minimum of three years of e-waste disposal service experience. The e-waste typically consist of desktop computers, laptops, CRT/LCD/LED monitors, keyboards, tablets, touchpads, cellphones, laser/ink/all-in-one format printers, projectors, uniterruptible power supply (UPS), servers, routers, modems, cabling, audio visual equipment, DVD players, CD players, amplifiers, speakers, mixers, CRT/LCD/LED televisions, cameras, recorders and other related items. The e-waste is palletized onto 40\"x 48\" pallets and shrink wrapped. Each pallet roughly weighs between 800- 1400 Lbs. UHM will provide a forklift and forklift operator to load the pallets on the vendors truck. UHM shall give one week notice to the vendor prior to pick up. UHM reserves the right to terminate the contract if the vendor does not respond of fails to pick up scheduled waste. Vendor must pick up the e-waste from 1194 East- West rd. Honolulu, Hi. 96822, Monday- Friday between the hours of 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM- 2:00PM. In the event UHM has excess e-waste during the month and vendor is unable to pick the excess e-waste, UHM shall be able to schedule within one week a drop off time with the vendor to drop off the excess e-waste. Drop off times will be between 7 AM- 4PM Monday thru Friday excluding state holidays. UHM will shrink wrap and palletize the e-waste and provide the weight of the pallet. The vendor must provide a forklift at the delivery site to off load the pallets. Vendors shall bid a separate unit price per pound in the event UHM decides to drop off excess e-waste instead of paying for additional pick up. Vendors shall bid on the unit price per pound. Quantity is estimated. The vendor will be paid based on the actual weight that is picked up or delivered. Prices shall include all applicable taxes, miscellaneous charges, delivery and freight charges. Contract term- from award to June 30, 2026, with scheduled pick ups monthly.
