Special Instructions
All interested bidders are requested to attend a mandatory site walk through. A site walk through is scheduled for 1:00 Thursday, June 4,2026. Contractors shall meet at the Frear Hall loading dock at 2569 Dole St. Contract documents will be distributed at the site walk through. Contractors interested in bidding for this work must contact Dan Furuya through e-mail, dfuruya@hawaii.edu to confirm attendance by 4:00 pm Wednesday June 3, 2026. Contractors that do not attend the mandatory site walk through, will not be allowed to bid for this work. All contractors must be a licensed C-52 contractor or have a licensed C-52 subcontrator.

Parts must be ordered within 3 days of receipt of PO. Work must proceed within a week of receiving parts.

At the walk through, it was said to change the FCU flare nut. Do not change the nut and use the factory flare nuts.
