Project Description: This project will primarily consist of constructing slope improvements consisting of compacted low permeability soil liner, lateral drainage layer, protective cover soil layer, and a geosynthetic rain cap on the Stage 6 area of the Phase Il slope an area of approximately 2.1 acres. The Stage 7 area slope improvements, over an area of approximately 1.9 acres, are an alternate bid item consisting of the same construction tasks as Stage 7. Construction of the slope improvements will include demolition of existing AC lined drainage ditch, excavation, grading, exposure of existing final cover low permeability soil layer where existing grade must be adjusted to no less than 10%, construction of low permeability soil liner, and placement of lateral drainage layer, protective cover soil, and a geosynthetic rain cap.
