Project Description: The scope of work includes full replacement of an existing bridge, consisting of demolition of the existing steel bridge deck and support framing made of railroad ties likely salvaged from the railroad, abutments/wing walls and foundations; construction of a new concrete bridge consisting of concrete precast slab girders, cast in place concrete topping, cast in place concrete abutments, wingwalls and approach slabs; GRP culvert lining; and replacement of the existing 8” PVC waterline along the upstream side of the bridge.
