Project Description:
The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to perform all work related to the following: (See Attachment 2a - Photo Description

1. Federal Office Room Rehabilitation
(1) Demolition
(a) Remove obsolete electrical conduits and associated accessories. The Owner will identify the specific conduits to be removed during the pre-bid conference and formally issue this information via a subsequent addendum.
(b) Remove damaged frames, repair and adjust frame openings (i.e. Doors, Windows) to accommodate the installation of new Metal Wall Sidings.
(c) Remove existing corrugated metal sidings at the front side of Federal and Storage Room complete and dispose.
(d) Remove the existing door and door frame. Clean and repair opening as needed.

(2) Wall Framing Repairs/Reinforcement
(a) Repair and/or replace studs that are damaged and structurally compromised due to dry rot, termites, water damage, etc.

2. Corrugated Steel Wall Siding and Door Installation
(a) Install new 26 ga corrugated steel panel and attach to the existing wall framing using metal-to-wood screws with pre-installed neoprene gaskets. Install associated metal flashings in appropriate areas needing flashing (ie. around windows, horizontal edges, etc.)
(b) Overlap corrugated steel panels by 1.0 to 1.5 corrugations. Seal the lap joints using a minimum 3/4\\\" wide butyl tape.
(c) Install (1) solid core wood door, new door frame and threshold. Include new door hardware:
(i) Hinge
(ii) Lock set
(iii) Deadbolt

3. Exterior Painting at Motor Pool Facility
(1) Surface Preparation for Painting
(a) Structural posts, ceilings and wall surfaces to receive paint shall be cleaned and prepared in accordance with the surface preparation specifications of SSPC and the paint manufacturer\\\'s instructions and recommendations.

(2) Primer and Paint Application
(a) Paint shall be applied using a roller or brush. If the Contractor chooses to spray apply paint, this application method needs to be followed immediately with back-rolling.
(b) All surfaces shall receive a minimum of (1) coat of primer, unless otherwise specified, shall be Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial Pro-Cryl Universal Acrylic Primer, water based, Off-white colored, or approved equal specifically formulated for use on exterior metal surfaces. Submit color sample to Owner for approval.
(c) The metal surfaces shall be coated with (2) coats of Sherwin Williams Duration Coating Exterior Latex Semi-Gloss water-based paint or approved equal specifically formulated for use on exterior metal surfaces.
(d) The structure shall use the same color paint matching the adjacent ‘Work Bay’ Building (refer to Attachment 2). Submit color sample to Owner for approval.

Contractor is responsible for Field Verification of the work area with the Owner, prior to installation. All work shall be performed to comply with safety and health standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
