This solicitation is for the fabrication of a gate with the installation and installation of a chain link fence. Please take a look at Line Items for more details. Bidders can bid per line item.

Six Foot High Galvanized Chain Link Fence

The fence is to be a 6-foot-high, galvanized chain-link fence with a total length of 200 linear feet.

Mesh: 2” x 9-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel
Line Posts: 2.5” nominal diameter, sch 40 hot dipped galvanized steel
Terminal Post: 3” Nominal diameter, sch 40 hot dipped galvanized steel
Top Rail: min. 1 3/8” diameter, sch 40 hot dipped galvanized steel
Post Spacing: Maximum 10’
Footings: Line posts set in 10-12” diameter concrete footings; Terminal posts in 12-16” diameter. Depth: 36”
Ties: 9-gauge aluminum wire, spaced 12-16 inches apart on rails and posts
The fence corridor will be cleared of above-ground vegetation by Forestry and Wildlife staff prior to work commencing. Approximate routing depicted in the attached map.

Final linear footage may be adjusted based on bid price.

16 x 6’ Automated Cantilever Entry Gate (Wrought Iron Option)

The cantilever entry gate will be 16 feet long and 6 feet high (not including counterbalance), made of steel, painted with a 2-part polyurethane in forest green, and designed to resemble the gate in the attached sample photo. The rolling gate is to be controlled by an electric sliding gate opener with a key access pad, accessible by approaching the driver\\\'s side of the vehicle in both directions. The automated opener will be chain-driven with a heavy-duty commercial opener. Material: Galvanized steel, hot-dipped for corrosion resistance ASTM A653 standards
Frame: 2” square -14 gauge
Welding: Fully welded construction for maximum structural integrity
