Remove and reinstall existing glass doors and hardware to support changing of access control system parts. Comply with schedule and restrictions.
Remove, replace and align access control parts for glass doors. Test doors.

Special Instructions
All interested bidders are requested to attend a mandatory site walk-through. A site walk through is scheduled for 10:30 Thursday, April 23,2026. Contractors shall meet at 2002 East West Road and walk to the site. Contract documents will be distributed at the site walk through. Contractors interested in bidding for this work must contact Dan Furuya through e-mail, dfuruya@hawaii.edu to confirm attendance by 4:00 pm Monday June 16, 2025. Contractors that do not attend the mandatory site walk through, will not be allowed to bid for this work. Bidding contractors must be a licensed C-15 or C-22 contractor. Control work must be done by a licensed C-15 Contractor that is familiar with the existing building Radionics Access Control System.

Parts must be ordered within 3 days of receipt of PO. Work must proceed within a week of receiving parts.

If a correct and reasonable breakdown is not provided at the time of bid, the bidder may be disqualified.

Postpone walkthrough to April 28, 2026 at 1:00pm. No interest yet. Confirm attendance by 4:00pm April 27, 2026.

Extend Bid Date to May 8, 2026 at 4:00pm.
Additional scope to replace and adjust both in-ground door closers with equal to existing.
Also, to add a trim cover to the mauka top hinge to match existing.
