Project Description: The DOE has responsibility for maintaining the facilities for the various schools and offices under its jurisdiction across seven (7) main islands that comprise the State of Hawaii. JOC is a well-recognized procurement approach employed by the Federal Government and other jurisdictions outside of Hawaii. The DOE intends to award up to seven (7) contractors to perform a full range of roofing construction work. The projects will be performed at DOE sites and facilities on the island of Oahu. Much of the work on DOE facilities located on Oahu is performed under the supervision of staff of the Office of Facilities and Operations (OFO) and/or its authorized representatives. Personnel acting on behalf of the OFO are authorized to direct services under Job Order Contracts and Job Orders issued pursuant to this RFP. The scope of work of the Job Order will be set forth in the Detailed Scopes of Work referenced in the individual Job Orders issued under the Job Order Contract. The Contractor is required to complete each Detailed Scope of Work for the Job Order Price within the Job Order Completion Time. Further insight into the Job Order Contracting procurement system is provided throughout this RFP. The purpose of this RFP is to award up to seven (7) Job Order Contracts.
