Project Description: This project involves a one-for-one replacement of two (2) existing air handling units in Wentworth Hall and three (3) existing air handling units in Marine Science Building, and removal and reinstallation of existing water heater and hot water storage tank in Marine Science Building. Additionally, ductwork and chilled water piping insulation throughout Wentworth Hall will be replaced. This work shall generally include selective demolition, structural steels, siding, firestopping, sealants, gypsum wallboard, acoustic ceiling tile, painting, louver, fire alarm system hardwired, general mechanical requirements, mechanical sound, vibration, and seismic control, mechanical insulation, chilled water piping, plumbing, air handling equipment, ductwork and accessories, direct digital control system, hvac testing/adjusting/balancing, electrical general requirements, wiring systems and interior lighting.
