Price must include all taxes, handling and shipping charges delivered to destination:
Hawaii Community College, Carpentry Program, 1175 Manono Street, Bldg 3886 (Manono Campus), Hilo, Hawaii 96720. Please coordinate delivery with instructor Grant Kaaua, (808)934-2668 or email kaaua@hawaii.edu.

Vendor must guarantee delivery by “Date Required”. Please do not submit a bid if you cannot make delivery by 90 days ARO (after receipt of order). Quote to be valid for 30 days. Items provided is new with standard warranty and 5 year warranty, to include but not limited to parts and labor and all workmanship and materials of equipment furnished under this contract shall be guaranteed from the date of acceptance and local authorized repair & maintenance service to be provided within 24 hours. Vendor shall replace and/or repair any defective workmanship and/or materials at no cost to the college. Bids on items “equivalent to” or “similar to” the requested product may be considered, however, a detailed list of the product and specifications must be provided in order for substitution to be considered. Please email your substitution to jpagan3@hawaii.edu by March 15, 2026; 4:00 p.m. in order for items to be considered.

Vendor to provide assembly service of equipment. On-site Training and installation to be provided at no cost. Installation to be completed 2 days after delivery. Training to be scheduled with the instructor, Grant Kaaua,(808)934-2668 or email kaaua@hawaii.edu. Please provide the operations and service manuals for reference. Vendors must be located in Big Island of Hawaii.

Award is subject to availability of funds. Purchaser reserves the right to cancel purchase if funds are unavailable due to unforeseen matters. The Purchaser reserves the right to determine equivalency, and may increase, reduce, or delete the item to maintain budget limits.

Goods to be received in satisfactory condition. Any damages to equipment during shipment and delivery of goods will be the responsibility of the vendor. Vendor needs to provide and arrange delivery to destination: 1175 Manono Street, Bldg 3886 (Carpentry Shop located on the Manono Campus). Contact Grant Kaaua,(808)934-2668 or email kaaua@hawaii.edu.

Should the bidder require any of the following, their bid may be disqualified.
1) Taking exception to any of the specifications, terms or conditions contained in the RFQ, or UH purchase order.
2) Placing conditions on the furnishing of the equipment offered
3) Inclusion of a quotation or order form containing additional specifications, terms or conditions.
4) Referencing external documents containing additional specifications, terms or conditions

NOTE: Upon award of SuperQuote, winning bidder must be able to provide Certificate of Vendor Compliance. (Under HRS 103D-310(c), for purchases of $2,500 or more, the University of Hawaii must verify vendor compliance with all laws governing entities doing business in the State of Hawaii.) For information relating to registering and obtaining the Certificate of Vendor Compliance, please access the following website: https://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce/splash/welcome.html. The Certificate of Vendor Compliance must be available at the time of award or award will go to the next low bidder who meets specifications.
