Project Description:
Renovation of the Cheetah View Bunker includes the following:
1. Replacement and raising of existing roof and structural framing. New roof will be steel framing with perforated aluminum panels.
2. Inclusion of a new walking platform and steel access ladder for zookeeper access, fall protection included.
3. Replacement of steel jump guard and steel welded wire mesh.
4. Replacement of existing transom panels with new transom glass.
5. Demolition of existing gunite wall finish and extension of existing concrete wall with new eucalyptus fence.
6. Replacement and raising of existing viewing area concrete slab.
7. Replacement of selected area of African Savanna concrete walkway fronting the Cheetah exhibit entrance path.
