Project Description: Koloa Well B pump failed and it is unknown of the cause of failure. The pump and motor are to be removed, an inspection performed, and a failure report generated to determine and document the cause of the failure. The work entails removal of the existing pump/motor and installation of a 10 inch, 2-pole, 460V, 75 HP submersible motor that powers a 560 5pm @ 410 ft TDH pump assembly; associated pump cable; 221.67 ft of 8 inch column pipe; one check valve; twenty two column couplings; and an 8” x 8” discharge head. Work will also consist of installing and verifying operation of the new submersible motor, attached pump assembly and associated appurtenances. A well completion report for the new equipment shall be submitted.
