Project Description: The project is for the PENSACOLA STREET BOX CULVERT IMPROVEMENTS, FROM KAPIOLANI BOULEVARD TO WAIMANU STREET. The project includes, but is not limited to: Concrete rehabilitation of existing box culvert; excavation; top slab demolition and replacement; structural backfill, resurfacing and reconstruction of asphalt concrete pavements; adjustment of utility manhole and handhole frames and covers; restoration of pavement markings, pavement striping, markers, and vehicle loop detectors; reconstruction of existing concrete curb and/or gutters; concrete catch basins; construction of concrete bus pads; installation of concrete curb ramps, grade adjustment curbs, and concrete sidewalks; provision of traffic control during construction, provision of access to all businesses during all business hours; underground electrical re-routing; coordination with utility companies during construction.
