Project Description: The project is for the re-construction of Kapalama Stream Channel walls at Kouhou Street and 1325 N. School Street. At Kouhou Street, a seventy-seven (77) foot section of CRM channel wall is leaning and will be demolished and re-constructed. At 1325 N. School Street a forty-one (41) foot section of CRM wall was washed away during a storm and has been replaced with a temporary CLSM wall. The temporary CLSM wall will be removed and replaced with CRM wall. Both sites have temporary wall bracing which will be removed as a part of the CRM wall construction. Work will include removal and replacement of chain-link fence and restoration of channel bank above the channel CRM wall with grassing and maintenance.
