Project Description: Provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, permits and insurance necessary to replace one (1) gas water heater. Work shall include but not limited to demolition, installation, disposal of gas heaters, replacing piping, valves, pressure gauges, and insulation. All mechanical and plumbing work shall be in accordance with local and national codes.

Provide all tools, materials, equipment and insurance necessary to remove and install gas water heater as indicated on bid documents and specifications. The proposed work shall include but not limited to furnish new gas heater, removal, modification, installation, disposal existing gas heater, replacing piping, valves, pressure gauges, electrical and insulation as needed. Start-up adjustments per manufacturer’s recommendations and perform system checks to confirm proper operations.

Special Instructions
ALL bidders are requested to attend site walk-through. Site walk through is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 14, 2026.

Contractors shall meet at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center Security Office located at 701 Ilalo St . on the 1st flr. Bid documents will be distributed at the site walk- through. Contractors interested in bidding this work must contact Eddie Nagamine via email enagamine@cc.hawaii.edu or phone (808) 440-4565 to confirm attendance by 3:00 p.m. Tuesday January 14, 2026.

Contractors who DO NOT attend site walk-through will not be allowed to bid on this work. Contractor is required to provide a cost Bid Sheet, Copy of C4 License, and Certificate of vendor Compliance at time of bid closing.
