Project Description: The project shall in general consist of but is not limited to the replacement of the playground synthetic turf / artificial grass safety surfacing located at Building 8811 Child Care at Honolulu Community College, Honolulu, Hawaii, as called for on the Plans and Technical Specifications.

Additive Bid Item No. 1 - Provide 40 linear ft. of additional root barrier as indicated per plan and arborist’s report dated on 11/13/2025.

Special Instructions
1. All bidders shall review the attached documents before submitting a quotation.

2. Quote to include all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the project in accordance with the attached documents.

3. Quote must be valid for 90 days

4. Clarification/substitution request shall be submitted by January 13 at 2pm (HST).

5. To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractor’s “A” or “C-68FF” license.

7. Bidder receiving the award is required to provide the following documentation before the purchase order is issued. Note: Do not purchase any materials until the approved purchase order is provided.

(2) Certificate of Insurance
(3) Certificate of Compliance with HRS 396-18
(4) Signed Superquote Award Notice
