Project Description: Installation of the Dragnet Systems, vehicle arresting barriers, components (metal tape for the Energy Absorbers, Net Assemblies, etc.). For the Likelike Highway runaway truck ramp, located before the Kahekili Highway off ramp, supply and install the lead net (including airfreight costs and appurtenances).

1) The contractor shall provide the materials and tools, and shall be available to being work immediately.
2) Contractor shall field verify all existing conditions prior to bid. Notify Engineer if any discrepancies are found.
3) Contractor is responsible all traffic control including traffic control plans, safety devices, and equipment required.
4) Work may be performed only between the hours of 8:30 am and 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except State Holidays, unless otherwise approved in writing by the District Engineer.

Cancellation: This solicitation may be cancelled and any or all bids rejected in whole or in part, without liability to the State, when it is determined to be in the best interest of the State.

Bid price must be the total price including taxes, permits, BMP, etc.

Bond Requirements: All bidders shall be required to include a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in accordance with HRS §103D-324 upon award of the contract. These bonds must be equal to 100% of the contract price.
