Project Description: Furnish three (3) new Utility Task Vehicles (UTV) meeting the specifications below to be delivered to Kauai Community College. The UTV must include printed parts list manual. A manufacturer\'s or authorized dealership\'s maintenance representative must be available to support any warranty claims and address any future maintenance issues during the duration of the warranty period. Manufacturer’s standard warranty, minimum one (1) year parts and labor. Equivalent models meeting or exceeding these specifications may be considered. All equipment shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.

1. 4x4 or all-wheel drive
2. Gasoline-powered, 4-stroke engine
3. Fuel tank, 5 gallons (minimum)
4. Two front lights and two rear lights with brake lights (LED, halogen, or equivalent)
5. Automatic transmission
6. Payload capacity, 800 pounds (minimum)
7. Tow capacity, 1,200 pounds (minimum)
8. Seating for four (4) occupants plus a rear cargo bed.
9. Roof (metal or plastic)
10. Windshield
11. Rearview mirror
12. 20-inch tires (minimum)
13. Ground clearance, 5.5 inches (minimum)
14. Turning radius, 13 ft (minimum)
15. Rack and pinion or equivalent steering system
16. Universal keyed ignition switch or equivalent secure ignition system

Special Instructions
1. Questions may be emailed to Leah Lei Agustin at agustinl@hawaii.edu no later than November 26, 2025. Responses will be provided no later than December 2, 2025.

2. All quotes shall be valid for ninety (90) days after the closing date of the Request For Quotation (RFQ).

3. All quotes shall be inclusive of product cost, cost of labor, materials, fees, all applicable taxes, all freight and transportation costs for new, (not refurbished), goods to be delivered to Kauai Community College at 3-1901 Kaumualii Highway, Lihue, HI 96766.

4. Should the bidder require any of the following, their bid may be disqualified: (A) Taking exception to any of the specifications, terms, or conditions contained in the RFQ; (B) Placing conditions on the furnishing of items offered; (C) Inclusion of a quotation or order form containing additional specifications, terms or conditions; (D) Referencing external documents containing additional specifications, terms, or conditions; (E) The University reserves the right to any possible exemption to be based on the technical merits of pre-existing conditions.

5. Award to be based on meeting all specifications provided. It is the responsibility of the bidder to provide specification sheets and/or brochures as part of their bid submission; failure to provide this information at the time of bid may result in disqualification.

6. The award will be based on funding availability.

7. All goods must be delivered to Kauai Community College within twelve (12) weeks A.R.O. (After Receipt of Order). Delivery is critical; please do not bid if you cannot meet this deadline. UTVs shall be delivered fully assembled, operational, and ready for use.

8. Under Section 103D-310(c) Hawaii Revised Statutes, all offerors upon award of contract, must ensure compliance with the laws governing entities doing business in the State of Hawaii. Offeror will be expected to provide their \"Certificate of Vendor Compliance\" identifying their current status as \"Compliant\" on the Hawaii Compliance Express: https://vendors.ehawaii.gov/hce once the contract is awarded.

9. All awards are subject to the University of Hawaii Terms and Conditions Applicable to all Purchase Orders (see attachment); failure to agree and/or submission of separate terms and conditions may warrant disqualification.
