Project Description: This project involves the construction of a comprehensive septic system with a tank and leach field for the Kamole & Piiholo Water Treatment Plants. This project will include the demolition and abandonment, or removal, of the existing septic system(s) and the construction of a new septic tank, leach line and associated appurtenances for the two locations. The existing septic system at the Kamole Water Treatment Plant is a cesspool that needs to be replaced per the Hawaii State Department of Health (HDOH) Wastewater Branch per Hawaii State Legislature Act 125.
