Project Description: This project involves a one-for-one replacement of two (2) existing air-cooled packaged units, two (2) duct smoke detectors, one (1) air-cooled condensing unit (ACCU) on the second floor, the terminal variable air volume (VAV) boxes located throughout the building, and one (1) air handling unit (AHU) in the first-floor server room. This work shall generally include selective demolition, concrete repair, firestopping, sealants, lath and plaster, gypsum wallboard, acoustic ceiling tile, painting, louver, fire alarm system, analog/addressable, general mechanical requirements, mechanical sound, vibration, and seismic control, mechanical insulation, unitary air conditioning equipment, ductwork and accessories, HVAC testing/adjusting/balancing, electrical general requirements, wiring systems and interior lighting.
