Project Description: The project involves repairs of the bridge on the Paakea Emergency Road in Waianae to allow for safe and comfortable use.

Scope includes:
1) Repair longitudinal and transverse cracks on bridge deck surface using flood coat
2) Repair cracks and spalling on bridge deck soffit with epoxy injection, repair concrete railings, and end posts
3) Implement appropriate traffic control and safety measures
4) Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal standards
5) Remove deteriorated concrete to sound substrate, avoiding cutting any existing steel reinforcements.
6) Repair spalls using polymer modified concrete per manufacturer’s recommendation. Finish should match pattern of existing concrete surface.

Work Restrictions: Work is limited to 8:30AM - 2PM

Must comply with all Erosion Control / Water Pollution Regulations

Bond Requirements: All bidders shall be required to include a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in accordance with HRS §103D-324 upon award of the contract. These bonds must be equal to 100% of the contract price and must be submitted within the time specified after award.
