Project Description: One (1) Commercial/Professional Zero-Steer Riding Mower. Deck size commercial standard between 48-54” cutting width. Minimum 7 gauge thick welded together deck, no stamped deck. Anti-scalp kit for sides of deck. Drive type is hydraulic. Internal combustion engine with electronic fuel control (Gasoline or Diesel). On board fuel capacity is at least 10 gallons. Minimum 25HP/18.4KW. Electronic ignition with five extra keys, hour meter, drive speed forward is no more than 15.0MPH. Height of cut is minimally 1” to at least 4”. Mulch kit and work light kit installed. Michelin Tweels wheel for rear drive wheels or similar light weight flat free tire, no foam filled, solid rubber rear tires will be accepted. Front caster wheel flat free semi pneumatic. Removable fabric sun shade canopy attached to roll over bar. Seat with suspension isolator mounts and arm rests. 2.5 pound fire extinguisher, slow moving vehicle triangle installed. Operator manual, service and repair manual, and parts manual should include two physical print copies of each or one physical print and one digital offline version.

At least Five (5) years or at least 1,200 hours parts and labor warranty on mower frame and deck. At least three (3) years parts and labor warranty on motor. Labor shall be performed on-site at the delivery address and shall include travel time. If on-site service cannot be performed during the warranty period, the seller shall be responsible for transporting the mower to and from the site at no cost to the buyer.

Please note: The University of Hawaii (“UH”) is required to comply with Hawaii Revised Statutes (“HRS”) Chapter 103D, Hawaii Public Procurement Code. Specifically, under HRS 103D-310(c), UH must verify vendor compliance with all laws governing entities doing business in the State. Complying with HRS 103D-310(c) involves obtaining the vendor’s Certificate of Vendor Compliance, which may be obtained via Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE). Any of the following may be grounds for disqualification:
1. Taking exception to any of the specifications, terms or conditions contained in the RFQ.
2. Placing conditions on the furnishing of solicited goods or services.
3. Inclusion of a quotation or order form containing additional specifications, terms or conditions.
4. Referencing external documents containing additional specifications, terms or conditions.

Award will be made in aggregate; please do not provide partial bids.

Quantities are subject to change

Quotes must be for a brand new current model year 2025 or newer. Do not provide quotes on refurbished models.

The Ride on Mower must be fully assembled when delivered. Vendor’s bid must be inclusive of all delivery charges and applicable taxes. All prices are f.o.b (free on board), destination, including applicable taxes.

New Zero Steer Mower shall be delivered to Kapi`olani Community College, Olopua Building, 4303 Diamond Head Road, Honolulu, HI 96822. Please see attached map.
