Project Description: The Project scope of work is for interior improvements to Room 833 within Post and Room 208 within Biomedical Sciences Building. Post Room 833 and Biomedical Sciences Building Room 208 spaces will be converted into possible open office space. Post Room 833 will include removal of existing flooring, wall base, systems furniture partitions, selective cabinets, exit signage, ceiling panels, lighting, and mechanical registers. Existing suspended ceiling grid is to remain. Flooring will be replaced with carpet tile within the main Room 833 space and vinyl composition tile (VCT) within the Room 833A along with new wall base throughout. New acoustic ceiling panels will be within existing suspended metal grid, lighting replaced with LED light fixtures, and mechanical grills will be replaced with like for like to match existing. Biomedical Sciences Building Room 208 will include similar removal of existing flooring, wall base, and selective fixed cabinetry. Existing suspended ceiling grid and all acoustic ceiling panels will be removed in entirety. Additionally, HVAC register grills are to be removed and replaced. Carpet tile will be throughout except at door entrances where a portion of VCT will be placed along with ADA transitions and wall base throughout. New acoustic ceiling panels within new suspended metal grid, new LED light fixtures, and mechanical grills all be replaced with like for like to match existing. Both Room 833 and 208 will be painted throughout. Electrical work for new receptacles in Room 208 only will be replaced, a new LED lighting throughout both Room 208 and Room 833 will occur.
