The Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) shall not exceed 4.712% for Hawaii island. The GET is not applied to shipping or delivery charges.

All requisitioner inquiries to the bidders shall be answered within 24 hours. If inquiries are not answered within 24 hours, the requisitioner reserves the right to award next lowest bidder.

Upon award of the request for quotation, the winning bidder must be able to provide Certificate of Vendor Compliance (under HRS 103-310, for purchases of $2,500 or more, the University of Hawaii must verify vendor compliance with all laws governing entities doing business in the State of Hawaii.) Purchaser reserves the right to reduce or delete specific items to maintain budget limits.
