Project Description:
Repair work in Ku’u Aina Mosaic over the central circular staircase including:
- Pressure washing
- Repair blistering tiles in total of 5-6 areas due to water leak
- Remove existing tiles and place into original position
- Prep and remove loose concrete and treat rebar with ospho rust inhibitor followed by micro epoxy
- Spall and patch and reinstall existing tiles
- Two (2) coats of grout and cement sealer

Special Instructions
1. A site visit is required to verify existing conditions to submit a bid. Bids submitted by vendors who have not completed a site visit will be disqualified. A scheduled site visit will be on April 7, 2025 (Monday), 11:00am, at Leeward CC, Pearl City campus, Learning Commons Concourse. Please call Grant Okamura at (808) 455-0462 or email him at okamurag@hawaii.edu, with your first and last name, company name, cell number, and that you plan to attend the site visit for the mosaic repairs.
2. The selected bidder must be Compliant on Hawaii Compliance Express.
3. Quotation must be valid for 90 days.
4. Upon award of RFQ, vendor needs to provide Certificate of Insurance (COI).
5. Haul and dispose of debris created off campus properly.
