Project Description: 1) Replace approximately total of 104LF of joint seal, curb to curb, using existing as-builts per attached drawings and follow 2005 Standard Specifications, Section 705 - Joint Materials for Concrete Structures, para 705.04 C. Please note that our Standard Specs reference AASHTO M220 which is equivalent to ASTM D2628. Measurements provided are rough estimates, Contractor to field verify measurements.

See attached plan for work and location. Attach plans, means and methods as an attachment for review. Methods will be evaluated and selected based on the best interest for the state.

a) Clear debris/vegetation from the joint/railing/railing fascia prior to installing new seals

2) The contractor shall provide the materials and tools, and shall be available to being work immediately.
3) All work shall be in accordance with the Hawaii Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
4) Bid price must be the total price including taxes, permits, traffic control, BMP, etc.
5) Contractor is responsible all traffic control including traffic control plans, safety devices, and equipment required. 6) Contractor shall provide necessary best management practices (BMP) for storm water pollution including permits and devices. Contractors shall prevent any debris/dust from entering streams/waters.
7) No concrete/metal can be left on site, tarp below all work in dry stream, maintain/secure work site. Cancellation: This solicitation may be cancelled and any or all bids rejected in whole or in part, without liability to the State, when it is determined to be in the best interest of the State
